Adding and Dropping Classes

Graduate students may add or drop classes without OGS approval via WEBREG only through the second week of the quarter. All courses dropped after the second week require departmental and OGS approval.

Graduate students may not use TritonLink after the end of the second week of the quarter.

ADDING via an add/drop card week 3-10

Students are required to submit a drop card with department stamp approval and OGS approval to the Office of the Registrar by 4pm on Friday of the 9th week of instruction. (2 weeks before finals)

Note: to drop w/o a W this must be done by 4pm on the 4th Friday of the quarter

Students are required to submit an add card with instructor signature and department stamp approval to the Office of the Registrar by 4pm on Friday of the 10th week of instruction. (1 week before finals)

Students missing deadlines to add or drop classes will need to obtain departmental approval and submit a petition to OGS with the CEP required supporting documentation detailed below:

Retroactive Add or Withdrawal from Course:  Requests may be approved only in cases where: (1) the student clearly attempted to add or withdraw from the course by the deadline but technical problems with TritonLink prevented the proper processing of the request; (2) serious personal circumstances (e.g. hospitalization) prevented the student from adding or withdrawing on TritonLink or in person prior to the deadline.
