NRSA Fellowship Activation

Once a student receives word that you have been awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award, s/he will need to submit a Fellowship Activation Notice to begin the disbursement of funds.

The student should work with the department fiscal manager or MSO and his/her sponsor to determine the date for the activation of the award.  Note that fellowships may not be activated between October 1 and November 30.

Once the form is complete and has been signed by both the fellow and the sponsor, submit the form to the Office of Graduate Studies.  OGS will notify the fellow once the form has been submitted.
